I was an employee for Rocklyn Homes several years ago and I was told from management that roads would be paved once the neighborhood was completed. I actually purchased a home from Rocklyn under that information that was given to me and I expected as a new home owner for it to be completed. This company had me lying to people that were going off my word. Im upset because I had to lie to folks and was lied to from management myself . I wish I had read the other reviews about Rocklyn homes prior to my purchase. I honestly had a good experience until the formal walkthroughs of the house. I CANNOT recommend this company. Craftmanship issues are a major concern with this company. Additionally, this company will not hold themselves accountable to their craftmanship errors and lack of customer service standards. Rocklyn homes are the absolute worst. Constant ACs issues! Literally have to call every week to get it fixed. Horrible build they half out the house together I have cracks in the plug in which I only been here 2 months! The are constantly hiring workers who cutting lines and having AT &T constantly come out to fix bc of their issues! Its just not worth the money or time to purchase from them! Not happy owner! Looking to sale as soon as I can bc this is horrible!

The Sales Manager at the ***************** in ************, ******* is very rude and unprofessional. ***************************** level of professionalism, as a Sales Manager, for major builder is unacceptable and must be address immediately from a corporate level. His level of communication and attitude towards first time homebuyers, real estate agents, and other real estate professionals is asinine. I contacted Rocklyn about having someone come to realign the sensors on my back door of my security system. This was done because as one of the issues of my walk through, the door to the backyard needed to be adjusted because it did not lock properly. A Rocklyn contractor came and made the repair to the door. However, in the process of making the repair, it caused the door sensors to become misaligned. Rocklyn Homes and our subcontractor that installed the original system has offered to send someone out to adjust the sensors on multiple occasions given that you sign a release of liability. The release has not been signed. While our vendor installed the sensors and the wiring on the home originally, you have had a third party company come and tie in to that system, voiding the warranty on the security system by the installer. Horrible. They never stick to their word. The rush the build process and when you have walk throughs, half the stuff you bring up either "can't be fixed" or they don't communicate with the sub contractors on when to be there or what the work is.

If I could leave a negative star review I would. False advertisement, incompetent HOA, and just overall dissatisfaction across the board. People pay their hard earned money on homes and to get the kind of service thats below satisfactory is unacceptable and hurtful.
Rocklyn is distinctly the worst builder in the state of Georgia and *******. They false advertised a pool with no access to it, trash pick up, tennis courts and a dog park. The pool is too small for the complex, we pay separately for trash from the city, there is no dog park just a square filled with straw. There is no tennis courts and will never be built. There is no follow up to your walk thru and they refuse to fix the defective walls, torn up wood, broken can lights, kitchen cabinets with nail holes destroying the cabin... read more
If youre looking for a new home builder that will overpromise and under deliver Rocklyn Homes is right for you. Once you are moved in misrepresentations and deceit from the company will likely be your experience as well. Not to mention the poor craftsmanship of the homes (cracks, plumbing issues early on etc) where the warranty is definitely too short to protect the buyer.
