The receptionist is beyond rude. She abuses her power. At this point id rather have no doctor just because of her! If youre going to make people pay for stupid things like a sick note that literally takes two seconds to make you can at least have better more friendly staff. I just got off the phone with her and she hung up in my ear because SHE couldnt understand me speaking English. Very unprofessional DO BETTER!
UPDATE – April 2, 2026 As promised, I wanted to share an update after meeting with Dr. Pennock. I feel confident in saying that he truly cares about his patients, which is incredibly reassuring. I also want to extend some grace to the new practice, as this is their first year and they are still working through logistical details. Was left a voicemail saying I have a family doctor at this place (been on waitlist for years) but when I call to schedule an appointment/talk about being a patient it goes straight to voicemail. Not sure how I can be a patient here if I can’t even talk to anyone.
I will update this review once I’ve actually been seen. There is a policy in place that patients can only receive care after first meeting with Dr. Pennock. I scheduled an appointment three months ago, which the clinic later cancelled out of caution due to a potential storm. While I understand prioritizing safety, there did not appear to be any contingency plan for rescheduling displaced appointments. Instead, I was moved to another six-week wait period.
