Service needs work, but the food and atmosphere were both good.
Stopped in for lunch today to take advantage of restaurant week menu. The kitchen did not disappoint, my selections were done perfectly. I was also impressed with Ken's service, he was very attentive. I will be back for beer!
Food was amazing, the beer was fantastic. You should try doing a watermelon wheat for a summer seasonal. I will definitely come back.
I've been wanting to try Rockhound. I've read many good articles about the food. I knew Nate's story. My son knows Nate from American Family Ins. We enjoyed our Saturday night experience. My husband liked his pale ale and I enjoyed my cherry hard cider. The cheese curds , the sirloin sandwich and the adult grilled cheese were all delicious. We will be back.
GO TO HERE! They are brewing up some world class beer at Rockhound. I had one of the most balance smoked porters I've ever tasted. The hoppy selections run the gamut of varying hop profiles, from piney and resinous, to citrusy and well-balanced, to floral, dry and bitter. Nate also takes care to make sure the beers are properly conditioned so you aren't drinking keg sludge or a yeast sample. There is something on the menu you will like. Very friendly staff. First time there had a flight to try different brews and were offered samples of others . Will be back reasonably priced.
Veggie flatbread app was good and cheese curds were amazing. The sandstone is def. my choice for beer.
Went for lunch...food , beer and service was great! Definitely will go back!!
