This is an awesome place to take family. They have the BEST kids menu in town (fried PB&J are you kidding me?!), awesome beer selection for the adults, and some really amazing comfort food for every season. Staff has always been kind and attentive. We love coming here, especially bringing out of town guests!

Finally made it out to Rockhound and will kick myself for waiting so long to get there. Good food and great beer with the right vibe and courteous staff. If I still lived in Madison, I'd be here all the time. The scotch ale was top notch--Nate's perfectionism in action. Burgers hit the spot, and the Guinness Cake was out of control. Really easy on the wallet too, for Madison. This place is a gem.

Came for lunch because of good reviews. Nice vibe but we waited 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches. The place was not crowded either. Had to take it to go because of our schedule and order was wrong when I finally had a chance to eat it.

We did note that the restaurant was about 80% full when you were here with only a couple of empty tables. We did check the ticket times for the day and they were a bit longer than we normally accept, however we didn't have any food tickets over 25 minutes that day, including yours. The beers are excellent and the chicken Parmesan bites were amazing! Staff was very nice also
