I was very pleased with my 3 year old daughter's first dental visit today. Dr. J and staff were extremely patient with my daughter as she was having "second thoughts" about having someone look in her mouth. Once she calmed down the hygienist made her feel very comfortable and at ease. Dr. J made my daughter laugh almost immediately after meeting him, so from that point forward it was a breeze. Sadly I will have to give this practice a 1 star now (after I left a 5 star review in 2016). I called to schedule a appointment for both of my children and they refused to see them and said my son was "dismissed" from the practice because he didn't "show up" to an appointment I had no clue he was scheduled for. So sad because I honestly really liked Dr. Mitchell and would hope that they would reach out to patients parents before dismissing children from their practice. Our 2 year old had a great first dental check- up!!!
This dentist office came highly recommended, so I called for an appointment. The first available date was several months out, so I took it. The lack of a reminder call prompted me to call the office to confirm my appointment and I was told that it had been changed due to the dentist being in scheduled surgeries that morning!!! I never received a call notifying me of this change. Good thing I called because I had childcare arranged for my newborn first thing in the morning. Very unhappy. The staff was amazing and very helpful! My kids can't wait to go back!
My daughter was referred to this group. Made her appt, showed up at the date and time I was given/told, only to be told they were having a "surgery day" and weren't seeing patients. Wasted my morning (I live 1.5 hours away), and the staff weren't very apologetic or helpful. Get the appt times right for patients!!!! We will go somewhere else!
