It’s a great deal but overdue for some of the most basic upgrades. The front door keypad/call box doesn’t fully work. The laundry machines are not well maintained by Sheffries. Nestor, the building supervisor, is the best though. He’ll fix anything that breaks right away!
We have been living at 2511 Q St for thirty years. In general we were satisfied with the apartment, but recently things began to go bad. During all of the years since we moved into 2511 there was a Charismas tree and decorations in the lobby. This year and last there is nothing and we along with many other tenants are very disappointed. Second, the woman living above us in apt 212 is in the habit of running water and scraping the floor with her vacuum cleaner nonstop past midnight disturbing out sleep. Under no circumstances should anyone apply to live here. After a lengthy application process (during which they assured me the apartment was mine) where I gave the building all of my identifying information, they ghosted me. I suspect someone at their office is running a scam
There is no management of the apartment! Calls not answered only somebody named Ericka automated . Text not replied and email not replied .
No complaints. A chill and laid back community in a wonderful and safe neighborhood. Surrounded by green space. The apartment isn't the newest or coolest, you are gonna need to sacrifice a rooftop pool and in-unit laundry, but there are no mice, lots of natural light, and decently sized units. Very dog friendly, and priced in a fair way. I have loved living here and made great memories here. Very walkable part of town, for those that don't have cars!
