I never go anywhere else I have baby-fine, ulta straight hair that is very difficult to cut well. It shows every tiny mistake. I've been going to Maureen at the downtown Rocco Altobelli's salon for 4 or 5 years now and each haircut is absolutely perfect, whether I'm going short or long, layered or straight, adding bangs or whatever. I've also had colors done by Kennedy, which also turned out gorgeous.
I love roccos! I went for a consultation and I promised myself I wouldnt let them pressure me into something I didn.t want. After Jay and Allison told me what they think would work, I said "do you have time to do it right now?!" I've been going there for a year and I trust Jay so much I tell him I want to look hot and he does his thing. I also get my hair cut my Michelle who is really good, and I've had it cut by Annabelle too who is really precise. I leave feeling fabulous and get compliments all the time on my hair!
A great smile, a great welcoming! The minute I walked into Roca's I knew it would be a fantastic experience. Every single person who worked there, knew exactly what they were doing! Everyone from the stylists to reception, especially the lovely brunette working at reception (Andrea, i believe) just lovely. Keep up the good work gals. If you want a good experience and w new look, go to Roco's.
Great place. Convenient, pleasant space downtown. Appointments are prompt. Sandy is experienced and excellent. I have had consistently good cuts there for years. I would recommend R.A. salon to anyone.
Convenient But Crappy... I chose to go to Rocco's since it's located just a few blocks from where I work downtown and is accesible via skyway. Although it was a convenient location, the overall experience was awful. I explained that I wanted just a few subtle highlights added to my medium brown hair and I ended up blonde (I was also "forgotten" under the dryer and finally decided to remove myself so my hair didn't turn platinum) ... Okay for the basics Just went in for a basic cut and overall had a decent experience. Though the stylist did cut my bangs a little shorter than I had explained. I would recommend for anyone who just wants to have the basics done. Not sure how they are with coloring.
Best Stylist I've Had I see Tori and Kennedy - this salon is the best I have been to. I recently changed my hairstyle and I have receved many complements. Rocco Altobelli provides great service, great hours and reasonable price (comparable to other salons).
Satisfactory stylists I have been to the Burnsville location of Rocco Altobelli twice, each with a different stylist. The location is conveniently located near Burnsville Center, and the salon itself has a good atmosphere and good customer service. Although the results turned out okay, the quality of the cut did not equate their prices and I will most likely not return for any further services.
I finally settled down with a hairstylist! I visit the Edina Galleria location, where Taya is my stylist. I know that I can just go in to Rocco's and say "make me look good," and they will. I used to spend lots of time getting ready for a hair appointment, weighing the options of how to describe what I wanted so I wouldn't end up with a hair disaster.
