New "Big Box" decor not for me. – Frenzied and frenetic come to mind when describing the new Rocco location in Edina. Have I been voted out of their demographic? I do not want to feel as if I am getting my hair done in the middle of a Target Super store - maybe that appeals to the young. The noise level is loud and the florescent lighting is louder. Simply Perfect – I have been seeing Sandy in the Mpls. salon for over 15 years. She simply does a perfect job with my hair. I have enjoyed the complements that it has brought me both professionally and personally. Let's face it, your hair matters, even for men. She is always bright and energetic, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great hair stylist. In fact, I have both a friend and family who see her.

Should have listened to the reviews I scheduled an appointment at the Snelling location. After reading a few of the not so good reviews I figured i'd try to give it the benefit of the doubt. When I got there I had to wait a little while so I was just observing. There was nothing personal about it. You could clearly tell they were just trying to get people in and out as quickly as possible. Nobody looked happy and the atmosphere was uninviting. I ended up leaving before I was even called up.

Wouldn't go anywhere else! I have been going to Roccos in the Galleria for literally 23 years. The first people to ever touch my hair at Roccos were Richard and Rocco himself. I have seen many stylists and several color technicians over the years and I have to say that overall, I love the salon! I see Louisa for color and Erika for cuts and they are both very sweet and personable. They really listen to what I want and expect instead of doing what they want to my hair. Rocco Altobelli Galleria I recently went to Rocco Altobelli in the Galleria and had the worst experience with Alex. She is meant to be one of the most senior stylists there and you pay the price but she has done an aweful job and one would consider her to be very junior since she really can make you have the worst experience. She put layers in that would not blend at all and it looks like you have two disjointed parts of hair- one really short and the other really long. Ah-mazing! – So I needed a haircut and color really really bad. My usual salon was closed that day so I happened to see this salon and it looked decent so i went in. It was really nice because I got into a chair right away. My stylist was wonderful and the results were even more amazing. My color lasted VERY long. I was actually surprised at how long it stayed in. And, the cut was just what I wanted.I can't complain about anything. All I can say is it is definitely worth the money.

There are too many salons to chose from, DO NOT GO HERE – I wanted to try a new color. so they made me do a treatment(which cost me money) and then never even colored it cause the colorist didn't feel comfortable. I have healthy hair, so it couldn't be cause of that. They don't even blow dry your hair for u unless a stylist is open, but they never are for some reason. I saw the stylists standing around, but I guess they didnt care to blow dry me. We live in MN! It gets REALLY cold out! Who wants to spend that kind of money a... read more

Worth the flight!!!! I fly to Minn every 6-8 weeks and have my hair done at salon in IDS.....when I return to Chicago, everyone asks me when I am going to fly Michelle and Jay to Chicago to do their hair!!!! They love it!!!

left high and dry I have been left high and dry by the last 3 stylists at the Roseville Salon. From leaving in the middle of the night to start a new salon to having a baby and never returning, I have been left without a stylist now for the third time and I think I will move on and out. The last stylist I had told me I "couldn't" have the sides of my hair cut as short as I wanted. Seriously? Who says that to a client?
