NOT impressed by his expertise at all. For several decades I've had numerous doctors xray multiple joints and always been told every joint shows signs of arthritis. This doctor claims he saw "no evidence" of arthritis. Previous Orthopedics said my hip was bone on bone and needed to be replaced. These doctors I and others greatly trust. This doctor said, just bursitis & gave me a prescription for a medicine I should NOT take, ignoring my medical history.
My visit was for a one year check-up on a hip replacement. As far as I am concerned Dr. Bruce is the best Orthopedic Surgeon in the entire metro Kansas City area for either a hip or knee replacement. Dr. Bruce is kind, thorough and very personable. His appointments are timely. I would 100% recommend him.
Dr. Bruce is very compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!
Appointment was on time. Everyone was very professional and Dr Bruce listened to my problem and took time to explain what needs to be done.

Excellent physician and surgeon. I have been seeing Dr. Bruce for 15 years and he has performed two different surgeries on me and he is an excellent and compassionate doctor also.
Had both knees replaced(TKR) by Dr. Bruce with amazing results! No more pain and I back to my regular activities. Was able to complete half marathon. Thank you Dr. Robert Bruce for giving me my life back!
He has always been so kind to my mom...not speaking around her but directly to her and always shaking her hand. Very patient-focused and very skillful.
