Dr. Shortell has been my chiropractor for a number of years. He has helped me maintain good health and has also treated specific problems. I am happy to have avoided surgery and medication in most cases, but when required, he has referred me to doctors who have used surgery and/or medicine when he felt this was necessary. I have great confidence in his abilities and his explanations that I have received over the years, but appreciate his referrals, as well.
Dr. Shortell helped me recover wonderfully. He is knowledgeable and professional, and seemed to know immediately where my back issues stemmed from. I felt as though I knew the staff well and they always took time to greet me. Gail was particularly sweet and made book recommendations for me regularly.
Dr. Shortell is very knowledgeable and comfortable to work with. He has helped my back pain enormously and is always accessible with any concerns you may have. His staff is always courteous and everyone in the office is a pleasure to deal with.
I started seeing Dr. Shortell a little over a year ago with limited range of motion and intense pain in my upper back, shoulders, and neck. He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients understand the root of the problem as well as the course of treatment. Dr. Shortell shows great courtesy and professional in delivery of treatment. Today my pain is non-existent most days and I have almost full range of motion.
I travel over 30 miles to continue my treatment by Dr Shortell. Why - several reasons: my range of motion continues to improve, rarely in pain any more, sincere care is always provided, office staff is excellent and finally and most important - I totally trust him with my care and well being!
I have been going to Dr. Shortell for a number of years and am very happy with his services. I am able to move more freely in my neck and shoulders. He provided inserts for my fallen arches so that I am able to walk without pain. He is very good at his profession and I trust him and his judgment with regards to Chiropractic care. I went to Dr. Shortell after having no success with physical therapy for my neck/arm pain. He spent a lot of time with me discussing my injury and gave me a lot of great advice. I have been going to his office for over a year and continue to receive great care. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful.
After having sought help from various physical therapists, chiropractors, and M.Ds over the course of 18 or so months, I took a chance to try a new chiropractor that I had heard good things about. I have been a patient of Dr. Shortell for almost 1 year. During that time he attentively listened to my complaints and resolved the neck and head pain within a couple of weeks. He worked on my spine giving me more flexibility with my golf swing! Since I have a hip replacement my balance and gait had been off which we are correcting with orthotics in my shoes.
