I have had on and off back pain for a while and I finally couldn't take it anymore when it was more on than off. I have been seeing Dr Shortell for many years now. Started with him back in 2003 and again few years ago for an injury that reoccurred. Dr Shortell explains where my issues are and addresses them accordingly and has helped me physically function after our treatment sessions. The office staff is a great asset as well, very friendly and helpful.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shortell for the past 4- 5 years. Dr. Shortell is an excellent diagnostician and pinpointed the area of weakness and/or pain. He has taken sincere interest in my general/overall health like no other physician. I have Scoliosis and Dr Shortell has relieved my back pain! Dr. Shortell is by far the most concerned chiropractor I've ever been to. He is interested not only in my physical well being, but also asks about my emotional health, and encourages me to do the things that I'm passionate about. Dr Shortell has been our family's Chiropractor for about 10 years, definitely helping us overcome many back related issues. He always is caring and respectful. We continue to get maintenance adjustments once a month. When our daughter was carrying a breech baby he gave a particular manipulation and the baby turned within a couple days saving her a C-section.
I have had lower back issues since my late teens that would get so bad I would not be able to dress myself and ties my shoes when it would flare up. I have had limited success with physical therapy and two previous chiropractors. I had cortisone injections that gave me relief, but the problems always resurfaced. I refused to get surgery.
