I have been a patient of Dr. Shortell for almost 1 year. During that time he attentively listened to my complaints and resolved the neck and head pain within a couple of weeks. He worked on my spine giving me more flexibility with my golf swing! Since I have a hip replacement my balance and gait had been off which we are correcting with orthotics in my shoes. I have been chiropractic for over 40yrs. When I moved I needed a new one. I went to Cromwell Chiropractic and Dr. Shortell. I'm impressed. He is very nice, smart and knowledgeable. He took his time with me and I never feel rushed at an appointment. I'm pretty old now and have some new problems but Dr. Shortell took me through them. He was honest about what he could and couldn't do. I admire that. He has helped and guided me and I am much better and well on the road to recovery. Doc Shortell shows that he cares for his patients, and does everything possible to help them. I have been going to Doc Shortell for sometime and very pleased with his service and what he has done for me. I highly recommend him... :)
I have been visiting Dr. Shortell for years after my husband recommended him to me. I took my newborn baby to him, and she's now 5 with no evidence of the scoliosis Dad had. He makes me feel well, while listening with empathy and giving good suggestions. I recommend him to my patients in Avon CT, because he is worth even a 45 minute trip!

I have been going to Dr. Shortell for several years now. I had neck problems and lower back stiffness. I have daily neck exercises to do that Dr. Shortell gave me and do them faithfully. After my monthly adjustment and maintenance, I leave his office feeling agile. I'll be 71 shortly. I highly recommend Dr. Shortell. His staff are the best also. They are very considerate, caring, and welcoming.
I think Dr Shortell is terrific. We not discussed Chiropratic care other types of wellness also. I highly recommend him.
