extremely unprofessional and shady business practices stemming from this village podiatry. In addition to my $40 copay, the front desk admin ELAINE insisted i also would owe an additional $200+ fee since i hadn't yet met my insurance deductible, just to walk in and consult with the doctor. Insane! Even my insurance was appalled. The $200 was part of their new patient fee, and covered NO treatment. I tried to connect an insurance rep to mediate and help me figure out what costs i would owe ahead of time, and ELAINE was extreme... read more
The staff is nice, though I couldn’t be more disappointed with the care and billing. The office had mentioned that an office visit can cost $77 or $150 or some other amount. Just depends on what codes the doctor bills and what procedures he does. My entire visit was 15 minutes and most of it was chit chat. Dr. Schwartz pretty much looked at my toes and said that I need to wear better fitting shoes in order to avoid jamming my toes while playing. And they are billing $367 ($219 for the visit and $148 for “draining” a toe nail... read more
After dscovering some pain in my foot, I called Dr. Schwartz who had helped me previously. Dr. Schwartz listened attentively to my concerns, explained the probable causes and advised me of ways to care for it including a small injection into my toe area (which immediately removed the pain) and medication and orthotics both of which have relieved the foot pain. His approach was both knowledgeable and caring. I would sincerely recommend Dr. Schwartz and his staff for podiatric care.
Dr. Schwartz was very professional and helpful. He diagnosed my problem and offered advice and direction to alleviate the pain.
Dr. Schwartz is a very good doctor, Dr. Schwartz and his staff made me feel so welcome on my first visit.
Dr. Schwartz has treated me over the years for my various running injuries. Thank goodness for Dr. Schwartz! He performed plantar fasciitis surgery on my foot after PT & home exercises failed to provide relief. He has recently treated my high schooler, who has had some foot & ankle issues associated with running cross country. My son feels very comfortable with him. The office staff is friendly and efficient. I never have to wait more than 5-10 min to be seen. Free and easy parking.
I would highly recommend Dr. Schwartz. He is very knowledgeable and very caring. The outcome of my surgery was better than I could have imagined.
The office over charges for the office visit and they do not comply with Insurance protocols. They come up with every excuse not to refund you back your overpayment and they won't file with insurance to lower the cost to the patient because it lowers their income. They will make you pay for things that is covered under insurance, if they file correctly, and they don't want to.
It is Dr. Zarett who treated me over several years. Always did fantastic job. Never rushed and always made certain he understood my situation.
