Dr. Douville is one of the very best physicians in Key West, & the most thorough & knowledgeable Ophthalmologist I have ever seen. He pays careful attention to every examination detail , asks questions of his patient & listens closely to their answers. He answers questions & carefully explains answers & details of his examination & diagnosis. His staff is phenominal. Knowledgeable, professional, yet quite friendly & accessible.

First, let me say that the office staff and Dr. Douville are very nice and very accommodating. Having said that, Dr. Douville probably saved the sight in my left eye thanks to his thoroughness and erring on the side of caution. Earlier in the week I had gone to Bascom Palmer with symptoms of a tear or detachment taking place in my retina. They said that my retina was ok and the issue was something else. I've known Dr Douville since the early 80s, he's taken care of my whole family and continues too today. He provides Key West with the best eye care available and cares deeply about each of his patients. 👍👍👍👍

Called yesterday trying to get in (they were booked). Explained that I had my cat scratch my eye and they made sure to see me today. Dr. Douville is so kind and really took the time and effort to make sure I was okay. He even offered to come in on his day off if I was still experiencing pain. His whole staff were so kind on top of it. I honestly cannot recommend this office enough. I can absolutely see why he has 5 stars, it is 110% a 5 star place. I cannot thank them enough!!
