I almost let Dr. Matteucci perform surgery on me, and I am so glad I didn't. I went to other podiatrists for a second opinion and they said surgery was absolutely unnecessary and would likely make my condition worse. All he wanted was my money. He is arrogant and greedy.
Dr. Matteucci- is a very good doctor. takes his time with you for your appt - never in a hurry- explains well. I would recommend everyone to him. When my mother was in an assisted living facility- he went to her because her feet were so bad. and no matter what time it was he made sure to see her before he went home.
Very bad, I gave him too many chances and now I am going for my sixth surgery to repair the mess he made
Very bad experience. I was being railroaded into surgery by a smooth talking salesman who kept threatening me with tendon rupture if surgery wasn't done immediately. He didn't listen to me and wasn't in favor of trying physical therapy or other conservative measures. Best foot doctor in the area !!! Highly recommend Sally Pence RN BSN
I have had several surgeries with Dr Matteucci and had many issues with my foot along with bad arthritis. He has always been honest with me and done what he can to alleviate my pain.
I had big foot issues - bunions, nerve pain, hammer toes - not pretty and really painful. Dr. Matteucci's knowledge of what was wrong and what needed to be done, convinced me it was time to get surgery done and out of the way. Well, within 2 days, only using Naproxen for the swelling, discomfort, I was able to walk PAIN FREE. It was a great relief. I am 6 months out from surgery - my foot is still healing - but it is so much better. There is only a bit of swelling (normal and not painful) a
I went to Dr. Matteucci two years ago for a bunionectomy. My toes are so crooked now that they do not fit into shoes, the tendons were shortened too much & the scarring was terrible. I did not have these problems with a previous bunionectomy done by a different physician who is retired. Dr. M insisted they only "looked crooked," but 4 other doctors disagreed. One surgeon repaired the tendons & alleviated the scarring. An MCW surgeon said the angle of the bones was done badly and can't be fixed.
