I’ve had many urologists while I’ve dealt with kidney stones and bladder cancer. Dr. Allen is the best in explaining what is happening and coordinating the plan. Going to Dr. Allen was a great decision.

Smart, direct, honest, expects you to be on time and prepared, because he will be. Listens to patients well, may seem brusque to people who want more handholding. What you would expect from a retired Colonel. Good office staff, though practice is getting busier.

I went to see Dr. Allen for a vasectomy following a botched procedure done by a different doctor. Dr. Allen used a no needle no scalpel vasectomy technique. The procedure was quick and relatively painless much better than the first vasectomy that I had which took over an hour was painful and did not work.. I highly recommend him Very professional with a good bedside manner and sense of humor

I am a physician myself, but when my child needed urologic care, I chose Dr. Allen. He is straightforward in his approach to solving problems, which I appreciate. He is smart and a man of action. I would recommend him highly to any friend or family member, and have done so on many occasions. We are fortunate to have Dr. Allen here in Alaska.

Dr. Allen has the ability to make you feel at ease when dealing with stressful situations. His bedside manners are great! He is an excellent surgeon that cared tremendously about my case and successful outcome. I would highly recommended.

This type doctor who doesn't like his patients questioning anything. It's shut up and just do what I say. Would NEVER, EVER recommend this doctor.He is rude and has a "doctors are god" attitude.
