I went to Dr. Allen to do my vasectomy over a year ago now and he was great. Quick and painless, I healed up fine and he gave me his personal cell number to call if I had any recovery problems. Truly showed compassion and trust after such a big decision to get a vasectomy done.
Dr. Robert Allen is not recommend and did not followed established urologic practices, allowing a prostate cancer to go undected for 4 years. He allowed an elevated PSA to be "watched" with more screening PSAs for 4 years without a firm recommendation for a biopsy to rule out cancer. When the PSA increased by 50%, after 2 years of "watching" he performed a non FDA approved "liquid biopsy" which gave false negative results. My visits to Dr Allen are for followup after prostate surgery. Dr Allen provide a straight forward analysis of my continuing health and provided excellent advice. The office was in strict compliance with COVID 19 protocols.
