I was referred to this surgeon by my general practitioner for possible hernia surgery. This doctor told me I have no hernia, I just wanted a 'tummy tuck' after carrying 3 children. When I left the exam room confused by what had just happened, as I was leaving the room, he bowed down and flailed his arms as if to say 'there you are your majesty.' He was awful - I immediately called my GP and told him what happened and he said he will never refer to this surgeon again.

A year ago this 'medical professional' performed surgery on my father who just had surgery a few weeks prior. Father ended up passing away not even 48 hours later. Did not contact family after surgery or speak to them about what happened after he passed.

Business response:

Anonymous -We are sorry to hear about your experience. If you’d like to discuss this with Patient Relations, you can call them directly at 414-805-2882. Thanks, Jenny

Dr Edwards is a good communicator. He is down to earth. He was careful to be sure I understood the plan for upcoming surgery. That's important with senior citizens.

I wasn't sure if I should have the surgery. Dr. Robb assured me I had as much time to decide as I needed. That was extremely helpful as that pressure was now gone. After a couple days I decided to have the procedure. Although I will be nervous at times before the surgery I'm confident in Dr. Robb.

Dr. Edwards was the doctor/surgeon in charge of my husband’s inguinal hernia surgery and aftercare while in the hospital. From our experience (consultation, surgery and aftercare) with him we can honestly say that it was a pleasure working with him under these circumstances. After we met with him for the consultation we both felt an extreme sense of comfort and confidence in knowing that he was going to be performing the surgery. He’s very honest, to the point, and is particular in how he likes things to be done - which we f... read more

My mom was in the hospital for Pancreatitis. He asked why she was in the hospital. My mom was filled with pain meds and all of that so I simply starting stating she was having stomach pains etc. He told me to stop talking. He's very arrogant and has no emotion towards struggling patients

I had a minor surgery on my crotch area, and Dr. Edwards was super rude from our first meeting. He is very short with you and belittles your answers if he doesn't like them. For example, he asked me how long ago I noticed my condition and I said "at least 6 months ago". He sarcastically responded to this by saying "ok, so 15 years then" because we was unhappy my answer wasn't exactly. Any time he had to examine my crotch he was super awkward about it and clearly was uncomfortable with being near a male crotch to the point he... read more

Not the surgeon for me. He asked a lot of questions and took a lot of notes, which I definitely appreciate in a doctor, but he was obviously irritated by some of my responses and actually cut me off once. I experienced some discomfort during my exam, for which he didn’t display much concern. In the end, he thoroughly explained my options and answered my questions, which is why I’m not giving less stars. For a patient with a similar personality to his, it could be a positive experience, but not my cup of tea. I would say his ... read more
