I would not even bring a cockroach there! They are the worst clinic ever! Told me my dog had a broken back and just needed to be put down they didn't even bother to give him an x-ray! Took him else where and guess what no broken bones of any kind! If you bring your pets here I feel sorry for them!
I can not say enough great things about this wonderful, warm, patient family at RIAC. Regardless of who treats your pet, your getting the best treatment possible. From the minute you enter to the time you leave you are treated professionally. These people go out of their way to help you and your pet feel special. They especially go a bit crazy over puppies and kittens! OBX Doxies

I simply cannot thank Dr. Elliott and Sara Beth at Roanoke Island Animal Clinic enough! My baby girl has been hospitalized since last Sunday and today I brought her home. She went from not eating, on constant IV, being fed by a syringe to this...playing and eating on her own. It’s been a long road filled with many tears, prayers, hugs and high fives. My heart is overflowing. Thank you God, Dr. Elliott, Sara Beth and all the staff....you are the best! ❤️🐶

Update on Peanut. Got her bandage off today!! No more visits. She's so happy. Had her reward cheese burger, fell asleep, wagging her tail in her sleep!!. Walking fine on her skinny foot. Dr Burkhart just called. Report on biopsy back. It was cancer. But, the type that actually forms in toes in older dogs. Doesn't usually travel to other parts. Her xrays showed her organs were clear. It said amputation is usually the best option. Which what Dr Burkhart did. Soooo as of now she's fine. Will keep eye on her other toes. Thank yo... read more
