My lab was recently hit by a car. It was a Saturday night and Dr. Grossman & Roanoke Animal Hospital were the only vet willing to take her on right then. She needed immediate emergency surgery. He called back two other employees that already commuted back home, they both drove back to be with my lab. Sunday morning they were all there taking care of her. She had a few complications after the surgery, and they were beyond helpful. This is a great facility!
The doctors and staff at Roanoke Hospital are some the the most wonderful, dedicated, loving people I have ever met!
I was on vacation and had an emergency with my dog... called the folks at Roanoke Island Animal Clinic and they saw him immediately. I can’t begin to explain how wonderful they were. They treated Murphy like family and made me feel comfortable at every turn. I live 3 hours away and if Murphy needs anything more extensive than a routine visit I will be making the drive back!
I'm not a local, but they made time to see my rat, Nim, on a moments notice when she started bleeding on vacation. Dr. Elliot was really friendly and knowledgable and made time to geek out with me about rodents and local wildlife. If I lived here, this would be my vet. As it is, I feel a lot safer bringing my pets on vacation knowing the clinic can take care of them.
This is the most knowledgeable and compassionate group of animal professionals that one could possibly go to. I don’t have words worthy of my gratitude. Thanks to all of you for your patience and continued wonderful care to Jack McCarter. Crazy little orange tabby �!! So looking forward to his full recovery and return home ... see y’all tomorrow!
Absolutely the best veterinarians and staff around They have taken care of my boy Butch through so much from his diabetes to cancer and has saved his life on more then one occasion All while being very caring and understanding I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else
