I normally do not write reviews, but felt I needed to warn others. I’m 73 years old and this was the worst medical experience I have ever experienced in my life. The doctor doesn’t communicate, and the staff is totally incompetent. I had a endoscopy and a colonoscopy about 6 weeks ago and as of today still have no results. Have called numerous times and no one will call me back, it’s like they just don’t care. I would avoid this doctor at all cost.

Dr. Safdar displayed gross incompetence and limited his consultation to no more than 90 seconds. Several weeks before my visit yesterday, he performed a colonoscopy on me. This was done because I am suffering from severe constipation. He was gone when I woke, and a nurse simply told me all went well. Safdar prescribed an expensive medication that had no effect on me. In yesterday's visit, he told me to renew my prescription and take a concoction of prune juice and olive oil. As he rushed on he said, "See me in six weeks." If... read more

My daughter saw doctor Safdar and was prescribed medication. Due to the incompetence of his staff, she waited in pain for over 3 weeks to actually get the meds. Here we are, 3 months later attempting to get the same rx refilled and it has been over 3 weeks since the pharmacy sent the pre-authorization request. Lied to when I called the office to speak with the docs medical assistant. Staffer said she was not at her desk so I left a message. Not returned, of course. Called back and told by a different staffer she was not even... read more

Colonoscopy delayed with IV in arm for 2 hours because he was doing "emergency" at hospital. Wasn't even told until 1 hour after laying in gown w IV. After I yelled at someone walking by. On call with us prepped and 2 days preparing. I left.

My second visit was at the new NW Hospital Sahuarita. Nice new offices, but unfortunately the same routine for checking in and out. One person behind the desk, answers the phone, makes appointments and checks in patients. This results in unnecessary wait times.

Grant location employees are incompetent. What do you expect from a group when the doctor is also not very good.

It has been 7 years since I saw Dr. Safdar. He might be a good doctor. But the office staff were a nightmare. I have lived with his incorrect diagnosis for 7 years — luckily I didn’t go on the medication he said I needed — my other doctors said he was wrong in the diagnosis. Now I learn how he was wrong. I just looked at my test results again to compare with recent tests — yes I kept the paperwork — and see all the errors made in transcribing —by staff!! They apparently don’t pay much attention to info we fill out. They sent... read more

Upon my arrival, I was met and greeted pleasantly at the check in desk. I was then taken to a treatment room by a medical assistant and information was exchanged. The MA was very pleasant and seemed to care about my health. I then met with Dr Safdar who as well inquired about my health and seemed interested in my health and care. He was very pleasant and straightforward.
