I drove an hour and a half to Riverview Animal Hospital for the sole purpose of euthanizing my critically ill cat. My regular vet hospital in my small town was closed over the weekend and on Sunday, I knew it was time to say goodbye. The staff treated me with compassion and care in one of my most difficult moments. They even sent me a condolences card a few weeks later which really meant a lot to me. I will miss my little guy forever, but I am at least comforted knowing his final moments were calm and filled with love.
