Very reasonably priced and caring. They squeezed in my dog in an emergency situation and took great care of him. Will definitely be going back ! My dog is doing great thanks to their quick response and knowledge!

I absolutely love Dr. Hedman. She is always so kind to my Tucker. I only wish HE knew how nice she really is, instead of being mean and growling at her. Bless her heart, she keeps trying. Lol

I take all 3 of my pets to River Road Animal Hospital (2 Boston terriers and 1 rag doll) and I’ve always been very pleased with not only their pricing and flexibility, but the friendliness of their staff and doctors. Needless to say we feel very well taken care of!

My favorite thing about this place is flexibility. There can be no appointments, and they will make room to see my dog. My dog was having urinary issues. We brought him here and scheduled surgery a couple days out. The next day my dog was in pain and hardly walking, we called and they told us to bring him right in. He had emergent surgery that day. Thanks for taking care of Toby and Milo!!

We have taken all of our many fur babies to River Road Animal Hospital for many years since 1986 and cannot say enough good about them. The doctors and all the staff are dedicated to their patients and taken excellent care of them. We are so grateful that they are open evenings and weekends. Pets can be expensive depending on their needs, but I have never even remotely felt taken advantage of. They are fantastic and my babies love them!

My husband and I just recently brought in our lab/shepherd mix. She is a rescue and has some anxiety when meeting new people. I was IMPRESSED with the way the front desk staff and Dr. Hedman dealt with our pup. They were calm and sweet to her and coaxed her with peanut butter, cheese, and a tennis ball. Needless to say, she did not bark once at any staff member which is a huge win for us and she felt calm and comfortable the entire time. Unnecessarily expensive visit for both of cats. The vet gave my cats more shots than I wanted or expected. I have never been to a vet so I didn’t know what to expect but I’m a bit sour from this experience. I only wanted my female cat to get 1 shot so she was up to date with her vaccinations (she was adopted from a shelter before they finished her shots) and an annual check up. We love the staff at River Road. We have been taking our dogs there for almost 20 years. They have always been so amazing and caring with our dogs. Our current dogs have been our most challenging pets, healthwise, that we have ever had. The staff at River Road has worked with us over the past few years to identify their health issues and find the best ways to manage them via medication, diet and care. We appreciate all they have done for us and can't imagine going anywhere else for our pets healthcare.
