Been coming here for almost 20 years and 5 pets later - they still manage to make me feel informed and truly comfortable with every medical need my pets have had. I wish the were 24hrs so I'd never have to go anywhere else! Thank you RRAH!!

I have been taking all of my animals to River Road Veterinary for years and honestly I wouldn’t take them anywhere else or trust them with anyone else! Dr.Pam & Dr. Hedman are amazing Vets who always go above and beyond for their patients!! I know I can always count on them and their staff to be honest & compassionate and to do whatever they can to help my fur babies. They did a great job with our dog, Presley, who had a problematic lump on his side. They were very attentive to his aftercare and worked with us to make sure the would healed properly. I am n so happy we switched vets!

My fur family has been receiving their veterinary care from RRAH for almost twenty years now. I have never had a bad experience here with any of my cats. We have had many visits over the years, from new pet exams, vaccinations, neutering surgery, dental cleanings and more. I believe each of my cats have seen each doctor over the years, most recently Dr Schairer yesterday. She was professional, kind, humorous and very good with Lewis, who just had an exam and some lab work. I have also taken my cats in for emergent situations... read more

My dog developed issues being handled for vaccinations in his senior years. Before today, we had some very stressful visits to other vets for the shots. Thanks to the fine work of Dr. Lisa Hedman, for the first time in several years trying other vets, we were able to get through the process smoothly this time. What impressed me about Dr. Hedman, is she took time to observe his behavior on the ground and recommended we move him up to the table, which had a towel on it so he had secure footing. We highly recommend this place! Brought Milo in on Friday and were very satisfied with the services. They are very knowledgeable, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly! We are transferring Sampson, Anja and Milo as we have finally found a great vet that meets all of our needs!

Our newly adopted 7 week old German Shepherd puppy got really sick suddenly. We were able to get her in to be seen the same day. She had the Parvovirus and had to be admitted in their hospital. Dr. Schairer and Dr. Lamb were so caring and empathic. They did everything to help our furbaby! Not only was the cost for this affordable which was explained to us first but the way she was treated by all the staff, you can tell they truly care. I am fairly new to this veterinarian, I brought both my dogs in, Miya and Thenos. I have had nothing but the best experience there. Both my dogs were well taken care of! I'm honestly very lucky to have found such an amazing place for my babies! Thank you River road animal hosptial!
