RecommendedWe love eating at River Point Restaurant!! The food is excellent and so is the atmosphere. The staff is very attentive as well. We especially love the seafood brunch buffet!!! So much to choose from. They have their famous cole slaw, cornbread and fried pickles. Love them all!!! Great place for dining with family or for large gatherings!!!

Went to River Poimt tonight with my husband and son. We were sat in the back room by ourselves, which I thought would be nice and quiet. However, across the wall from us was a group of ladies that were so loud I could not even hear the conversation at my own table. I made several comments to her waitstaff of how loud the people were. My son finally asked if he could go play Pac-Man after listening to all the profanity coming out of these women’s mouth. The hospitality received by Drew and his staff are more than exceptional, it is outstanding. They exceed expectations every single time. Food was good overall. Steak was great but mashed potatoes were boxed. Seafood platter was ok. Catfish filet look more like a perch. Shrimp were small. Oysters were small. Tarter sauce was oddly sweet. Cornbread could choke a horse. Coleslaw was good. Service was great. We were the only ones on the place and the kitchen got my order wrong. Overall it was good.
