The food was amazing and our server was one of the best (Ricky)! The corn bread was the best part, or maybe it was the scallops, I can't remember, everything was stellar.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, the food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic, and we will definitely be coming back to try more on the menu! We ordered the muscles, the seafood salad, the scallops, the grouper cheeks, and EVERYTHING was amazing!
Oysters were not memorable, but it's not an R month...if you don't know what that means, you're not southern! Shrimp appetizer ok...Dinner entrees were superb (all seafood,...salmon and scallops...cooked just right)....you know you had a drink when you ordered one....need I say more? Overall....very good.
Excellent food and service! We will definitely be going back! Surprised by serving cornbread with a dollop of butter on top, served while we read the menu! They both were made with sorghum. Mildly sweet! Superb! A must try for Louisville! John Varanase, never disappoints!
Today was my first visit to the River House Restaurant for lunch. I ordered the Grouper sandwich. Lots of bread and breading hardly any fish. Cold french fries, $14.00. The table was dirty and dishes did not look clean. Very disappointed. Not inspired to go back again...
