River House was just as I expect from Chef John, Exceptional. The raw bar selection was fantastic and fresh, the cornbread delicious, and the chowder to die for. Not to forget the fantastic atmosphere and view. Call and reserve your table today and ask for Tyler!

I finally made it to the River House and I was not disappointed. We sat outside and the weather and view was fabulous. We tried several appetizers that were great. We especially liked the roasted Bree with toast, corn bread and the baby back ribs. We got the special of the day which was heirloom tomato and mozzarella; which is made in house; on a bed of greens. I was less then pleased. This was our second trip and will not return. My opinion over priced mediocre food.
We enjoyed our dining experience at the River House from start to finish! The cast iron pan of corn bread and butter is unique and amazing! Great service right along with great food! Loved the ambience as well as the outdoor backdrop along the water! We will be back.
My first time to visit was a Sunday evening in early July. It was awesome dining experience and I am still telling people about the Parmesan fried grit cakes and the fried green tomatoes on salad!!!!!!! I will be back very soon.
