I initially visited River City because we were looking for a same day appointment on a weekend for our pup. They were open and willing to fit us in. From the first visit, we felt at home with River City Vet. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and took adequate time to address our dog's issues. I felt their prices were reasonable too. They have become our permanent vet and we are grateful for the quality care offered to our pup.
We took our older dog, Rocky, to River City Vet when we first moved here in 2013. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it's well worth it. Sadly, Rocky passed away in April this year. Dr. Harsh let us say goodbye to him in the private room. It was so hard, and I could tell even Dr. Harsh took it hard. You get so attached to your fur babies, and I'm sure the staff does as well. River City has been caring for our dog since he was a puppy. They have seen him though two surgeries and have always gone above and beyond to ensure hs well being. Not only that, but my brother, who is in the military, was in the process of moving across the country with his family and cat when they had a pet emergency in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly, they were very patient with all the questions we had, over all it was a great experience. Even the front desk was very friendly. Our fur baby deserved the best and he got it with these guys happy momma happy life
Office was very nice and clean. Pricing was good. Staff is super friendly and professional. Most vet clinics I have taken pets to always feel like they are trying to upsell me on unnecessary products and high priced foods. I didn't feel like I was being sold anything, just quality affordable care.
I love all the staff at River City. They truly care about our pets and are so compassionate at the end of life decisions we have to make.
