My experience at Rivendell was way more than I expected!The staff was the best I have ever had also! I learned a lot and received so much help! When I first got there I was really at the end of my rope! Thank everyone so very much for your help and real concern!

So, where to begin... I was about 12 or 13 around the time I was admitted to rivendell prison, I was in the rehabilitation program there and the entire time I was there, the staff degraded me and treated me like trash, the so called "therapist" only taught me to hate myself and borderline suggested I should off myself, the regular staff had it out for me to the point I spent 90% of my stay on "recovery" because Everytime id get off it the staff would slap me with 3 "flagrants" and put me back on the food made jail food look ... read more

My 13-year-old daughter voluntarily went here to try to learn coping skills and help get through some depression. However once the patient has been admitted, they will not release your child back to you until they're good and ready, even without a court order and the fact that they were there voluntarily. We tried to sign her out and they refused and told me that she can't be let go until the doctor says that she can. The beds are extremely hard, they are not given the proper hygiene resources, and are woken up in 15 minutes... read more
