We had a great time yesterday (July 4, 2017) on the Rivanna, despite the low water levels. The river is beautiful and the Rivanna River Company were awesome. So happy to have an outfitter right here in C'ville!! We canoe once or twice a year and learned something new from the safety talk (to lean toward the rock if caught)! From the first phone call to inquire on availability to the pick-up and drop off at the parking lot, we knew we were in great hands with guides and a team that was both enthusiastic and professional. We left positively pampered and so glad to have taken a few hours to 'stay-cation' in our own back yard!
Great fun! It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon on a hot and humid day.

Gabe and Sonya have built something really special with Rivanna River Co. In the last month I have been out on the water in both Kayak and inner tube. Each time their service has been professional, fun, and valuable. From Paddle to Pints night to tubing down the river for Father's Day. Grateful for the opportunity to 'discover' our local river.
We had the BEST experience yesterday on the Rivanna, thanks entirely to the good people at Rivanna River Company. They are great to work with, their hearts are all in the right place, super informative and helpful and articulate. I hope everyone gets on the river this summer with the help of this wonderful crew of people !!!!!

My friend and I had the most amazing time on the Rivanna river thanks to RRC! They were so nice and incredibly helpful! Highly recommend!
Rivanna River Company made my Saturday afternoon so relaxing! The staff is friendly and it's easy to get into and out of the water. They have a shuttle service to get you back to the facility! Reasonably priced for tubing and the views are incredible. A summer must!
