They make it so easy to have a great time on the Rivanna River. The ride from Free Bridge to Milton left my 8-year old begging to come back next weekend. Thank you Gabe!

A group of old friends (meaning 70 year olds) and I took a guided trip from Free Bridge, 6 miles down river. I know I wouldn't have had the courage or expertise to take on some of the rapids without Gabe's help as he instructed us through eat rapid, helped us see which route to take and what to look out for on the way down. He even found a place to pull his canoe over a couple times in the middle of the rapid to help us maneuver our kayaks through some tricky rapids. No flips or injuries. Major accomplishment! We had the great fortune to be on the river yesterday on a guided river trip where we saw green herons, bald eagles, osprey, and ducks. Song birds serended us as we drifted along the mostly peaceful river. We were expertly guided through the sets of challenging rapids and told stories along the way about both the history of the area and the natural history of the trees, birds, fish, rocks, and wildflowers. I would highly recommend signing up for a guided trip or any trip with this thoughtfully and expertly run company.
I love this company and how they genuinely care for us, proactively address our needs, and create a simple outdoor experience that leaves us with great memories. Thank you!
