Best Colorist- John++ Hair Stylist_ Juan Carlos – Everyone was really very nice. The Salon is out to Give You Great Cut & Color. They also make you feel comfortable, everyone is kind. This is no ordinary Hair experience. Go to the "Rita Hazan Salon" only if you can Handle Looking fabulous !!!
Two bad experiences – "no attitude," and "unpretentious" are two words I wouldn't use to describe the Salon. I think Rita is probably the only colorist who fits that description and is worth seeing. Adrienne (colorist) was ok until one time when he did my hair, my whole head came out completely brassy and was damaged (fried and brittle) beyond repair. JOSH & JOHN...The BEST at Rita Hazan Salon! – This was my first time ever going to Rita Hazan Salon. I had seen a makeover show on Oprah and decided I wanted to go check it out. Amazing – worth all the hype. My color has never looked better. Rita is a color genius!!!!!!!!!!!!! especially with Blonde hair. I have spent less money at other salons but have NEVER BEEN THIS HAPPY. I read the other reviews and have to say that Rita was very nice but very busy and maybe that is why people thought in the other reviews that she was not that friendly. Bottom line if you want your hair to look great this is the place to go
DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE !!! – OKAY so I come in to get some highlights and maybe a few lowlights for a slight change for fall a more warm rich deeper color than my beachy summer look! I am very very very DISSAPONTED . – I saw a great review on Carlos haircut and decided to try him. Stupid me, because what was good enough for the gal that wrote that great review about him turns a great disappointment for me. Carlos is a nice person; however, that is not qualifying him for the "man that does the magic". His haircut was below average and I end up looking like rest of the crowed. best salon in Nyc!! – I had read a lot about Rita and wanted to test it out. I wasnt able to really afford her though being that its hard enough to make rent in this city! But I called up and spoke with a very friendly and helpful receptionist who instructed me that for my price range I could see another colorist who was trained by Rita. not worth it – It's not like me to write a bad review. In fact, I just wrote a wonderful review of another salon I went to...after this one. The experiences were so vastly different. I had read about Rita's salon and saved my money to go there. I found her rude, cold and even a bit insulting ("You have a lot of gray hair. I'm sure you were coloring it before, though"). best spray tan in nyc – Even though Rita Hazan Salon is known for coloring hair they have the best Airbrush Tanning in NYC. Anna does such an amazing job that people dont beleive its a spray tan. Its lasts long and Anna pays particuliar attention to making sure your fingernails and toenails do not turn orange. I highly recommed paying a visit to this the salon.
