Amazing cuisine! Chef able to make concessions for diet needs. and from wait staff to bartenders unquestionably attentive and gave recommendations for all palates and tastes. Coming back for sure!
We have been here several time for Sunday brunch before our matinees at the Kennedy Center. Ris is about a twenty minute walk, so it is very convenient. The setting is lovely; there are also outside tables, when the weather cooperates. The staff is friendly and the food is great. IT is called a "two course brunch," but that doesn't include the basket of muffins and bakery items, which really could be a meal in itself. Food good. Service terrible. Charged my credit card an additional amount without my signature after I had left for a dessert they screwed up and said they were taking off the bill. Booo. Bad business. Manager did refund money, but how do you seriously run another charge on my card without my signature? It’s called credit card fraud.
The concierge at Mandarin Oriental DC suggested @risDC as the perfect dinner destination after a matinee at Kennedy Center for my party of 10. Ris came out and visited with us 3 times throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. Ris made my pre-surgery party a beautiful experience. Her personal touch and gifts blessed my heart. Please let Ris know that my pancreatic cancer surgery was a complete success. I will have dinner at @risDC whenever I’m in the DC area. ���
