Dr Riley is one of the best doctors in this area. God has his righteous right hand on Him and his staff. I went to him since I was a teen and re connected with him today and he has such a calming/loving spirit about him. I could of cried when I seen him and his assistant walked in the door. I have never had the feeling towards a doctor like I do him. Dr. Riley is great! He listens to and most effectively addresses your concerns. He doesn’t rush into doing surgery while considering other conservative options first. His office is so well-managed that I look forward to going there. I wish I had gone there sooner!
Efficient office. Great doctor!
I saw Dr. Riley today because of an ingrown toenail. He took so much time to talk to me about the causes of ingrown toenails and other concerns about my feet as a whole. He answered every question I had with patience and care. He did not push the minor surgery involved with ingrown toenails, was conservative about treatment options, and wanted to make sure I was informed and comfortable with treatment options. Dr. Riley, his nurse, and the staff at ETSU Surgery made this experience much easier.
Said “why would you fix a car if its running”? My bunion was causing enough discomfort for me to think of lopping it off. He said “don’t have surgery . Cut a shoe so the painful mid foot can sag into your sole, releasing pressure of enflamed tissue”. I asked about a treatment and he replied “glasses don’t fix your eyes”. I answered “ but the make your vision perfect ”. I left after he gently laughed at my responses. I developed a treatment for myself, I wear an apparatus that straightens toe.
Dr. Riley is very knowledgeable and caring for his patients. He is compassionate about his procedures not hurting. He is very professional.
Dr. Riley is the best! He has a great attitude and genuinely cares for his patients.
I unconditionally recommend Dr. Riley to anyone with foot problems. He inspires confidence by listening empathetically, by sharing diagnostic and and treatment options in patient detail, and by showing respect and concern for every patient. I trust his credentials and his regard for people implicitly.
