RecommendedMy granddaughter was born there and spent 11 days in the NICU. The nurses were exceptional. The care impeccable. This is not a path any Nana wants to watch her daughter walk with her new baby, but the care they received made this bump in life’s road more bearable. On Friday the 13th I took Justin Reed Windschitl to the ER in Waconia to try and have him placed on a 72 hour hold unfortunately they chose not to and released him. In posting this I'm hoping that the process for this can change on the hospital and the state level. I expressed my concerns that I felt he was in danger to himself listen to the mother even if they are an adult, maybe require a family members signiture. I don't want another family to suffer again this is my hope. he committed sucide a few days after he was relea... read more
