Great hole in the wall diner
Eclectic & nostalgic setting in downtown Frankfort, KY. Met Rick and heard some of his back story. His food was as billed, “fantastic”! Fresh-made warm beignets, muffaletta (fresh baked bread), veggie omelet with garlic cheese grits. Great little patio setting was the perfect setting for an anniversary brunch.
We just had a wonderful lunch at Rick’s! Scallop PoBoy and Oyster PoBoy. Doesn’t get any better.....until we ate the Key Lime Pie — best in Kentucky!

I finally made it to Rick's today. I had french toast which tasted like banana bread. It was really good. Bacon was perfect as well. If you have sinus issues, try the ham salad. It's delicious but verrrry spicy! I will be back soon for cheese grits, gumbo or beignets... yeah, there are too many choices! LOL
Some of the most wonderfully tasting dishes not Normally found anywhere else in the area. Great local experience for people who unaware to stumble upon. Guaranteed to leave with a smile after every visit. — with Rebecca Marie.
