The cake tasted great, but the service left a bad taste in my mouth! They forgot to add my daughters name to the cake & fixed it after I noticed when picking up (no big deal!). I had my one year old when picking up the cake & smash cake I paid close to $100 for & asked if they could help me out with the 2 boxes. I went to Rick's Bakery on July 24th to pick up my grandaughter's first birthday cake for her birthday party, and I was totally disappointed. The topper I paid $35 for was smaller than the dinosaurs on the cake, and it looked nothing like the picture I submitted when placing my order. However, I asked for buttercream icing and got whipped icing in which threw off the taste of the whole cake. We worked with Katie to order a small wedding cake for us to cut and a dessert bar for our guests with cookies, brownies, and cupcakes! The cake was beautiful and delicious! I wanted a "naked" cake with some berries and Rick's delivered! The dessert bar was a huge hit with our guests! We over-ordered on desserts, which was a great decision because guests were walking away with one of each dessert on their plates! I was there earlier today with my cousin to get a sweet after-lunch treat. Cody asked if he could help me and I made a comment that I just wanted a plain vanilla cupcake with icing (no sprinkles or anything fancy) but there were none. He offered to go in the back and make one for me, which he did! I was having a pretty bad day, but he turned that around by going the extra mile! Thank you so much Cody, I really appreciate it!
everything is so good took class today in cake decorating fairy house!! it was so fun I took my daughter in love and my 3 yr old granddaughter, and one of my sons we had a blast and they were so good with my granddaughter — with Candace Serio and Luke Serio.
