I am not sure about 'Best I ever had!' or World class, but very good I went to Rickey's today to see for myself. I have passed by there many times but thought the place looked like a dive from the outside. The place was really busy at 1pm on Friday; the service was excellent. I had a young man for a server who was quite promt about everything. Ordered the naked garlic hot wings and iced tea. He refilled my tea promptly each time. Best I ever had! Rickey's is not owned by Billy you idiots. its owned by Michele, my mom, so if you dont know then just dont talk. And by the way their will be a new rickeys opening up on the northwest corner of pines blvd and university in the Chucky Cheese plaza. It should be opening by November 5th. Spread the word.
Rickey's Restaurant & Lounge is Not bad at all....GO PATS Ok folks it seems a lot of these reviews are from locals. I am from MA, GO PATS!!!!...Thats another review, but last year myself and some friends came across Ricky's, I do have to admit it not the best looking place, but hey thats great if you looking to put some back. King of Wing's Video games aside, Rickys is the one of the best wing restaurant's in south Florida. The garlic wings are the amazing. Yeah the service isn't the best but the atmosphere and colorful characters make up for it. The menu prices are excellent for the quality of food you get. Don't listen to these Billy haters, their just jealous because they will never be the best.
King of Wrong Boycott Rickey's!!!! Billy Mitchell, the owner as stated below was in a documentary "King of Kong". He is a hypocrit and a cheater. He is not a good person, he will do whatever it takes to be thought of as the "winner" "never a loser". In the documentary it even shows him pushing other hot sauce brands to the back of the shelves and pulling his foreward in the grocery store to get ahead of the game. In this kind of economy think twice about where you want to spend your money.
Mike B Ricky's consistently shows that a local watering hole can become an oasis to a wide range of people, white collar, blue collar, black, white, Latino, etc. I have always been treated very well and always have had a wonderful experience, the beer is cold, the food is good, and the prices are great, however the best thing is the characters at the bar. Like "Cheers" the same funny patrons "holding court" in the same seats everyday, anyone would like this place
Never again!! The most horrible experience at a restaurant/bar I've ever had. the staff was horrible!! Myself and 3 other customers were treated with disrespect and our waitress was a ghost. from the moment we walked in we were shunned. If you want to have a great experience and good food- steer clear of here.
