I am not sure about 'Best I ever had!' or World class, but very good I went to Rickey's today to see for myself. I have passed by there many times but thought the place looked like a dive from the outside. The place was really busy at 1pm on Friday; the service was excellent. I had a young man for a server who was quite promt about everything. Ordered the naked garlic hot wings and iced tea. He refilled my tea promptly each time. . Used to be a good place, but I haven't been too pleased the last few times I went there. The sauce is still tasty, but the wings are greasy and undercooked. I've had some bad experiences with servers and bartenders in the past couple months too. I think this place is officially off my list.
Rickey's is awesome! Don't listen to Jc. I'll admit sometimes its hit or miss and yes, billy could pay a lil better attention to the place and its staff. But its a great place to unwind after a hard day of whatever it is that you do. Wings are the best! Burgers are killer! Seafood is greeeeaaatttttt! The prices wont break your wallet either. I've been going to rickey's for years. CHECK IT OUT!
Don't believe what you see in documentaries There's so much to say about how docs portray people, things, events, inaccurately, that I won't waste time here. But it's important to consider that the goal of a documentary such as King of Kong is to entertain, not necessarily to portray people and events realistically. Rickey's Restaurant & Lounge is Not bad at all....GO PATS Ok folks it seems a lot of these reviews are from locals. I am from MA, GO PATS!!!!...Thats another review, but last year myself and some friends came across Ricky's, I do have to admit it not the best looking place, but hey thats great if you looking to put some back. Not what it use to be Rickeys use to be the place we would go for wings. Now, they have slacked in their service as well as the quality of their food. Their wings are usually very greasy and soggy. The sauce is still some of the best, but without good wings you can't enjoy that either. I hope to see them try to build their business back to what it use to be. PROS: their sauce CONS: soggy wings, poor service
lots of fun I go to Rickey's every Monday night! Ok I admit it, I am a Karaoke nut and yes they have it! Not only that but their wings are the best! You can get them in Extra hot, regular or mild. Any way you order them, they are super yummy.
Best I ever had! Rickey's is not owned by Billy you idiots. its owned by Michele, my mom, so if you dont know then just dont talk. And by the way their will be a new rickeys opening up on the northwest corner of pines blvd and university in the Chucky Cheese plaza. It should be opening by November 5th. Spread the word.
