Dr Putnam is the best Veterinarian I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is very thorough, and treats each patient as his own. The staff is wonderful, and very helpful. I wouldn't take one of mine anywhere else...

even though I recommend this vet I was disappointed today now I have been to this vet many times with several of my pets but today I felt like my dog was manhandeld.her anxiety was threw the roof and so was mine.now she was antsy cause she was lifted up on the table she is a big dog so she was nervous but the little lady that was in there with the lady doc it was all she could do to hold my dog while she was getting her ear clean because she was so much taller then her on that table she had her in a headlock and she held her... read more
I took my Mila baby into see Dr. Putman a few days ago . First time for going there , they were all so awesome and caring there . Dr Putman and his son were so awesome with my big ole fur baby . I would definitely recommend anyone to take There are pets there
I’ve been going to Dr. Putnam even before he had a practice in Richmond. He is very thorough in his evaluations. He not only knows textbook medicine but has the knowledge that comes with many years of experience. He has gone above and beyond to accommodate my husky emergencies including coming in to his clinic at 10 pm to suture an eyelid resulting from sibling play that went wrong. The entire staff is so friendly and supportive. My entire family sees them and they are always available. When my babies get sick after office hours they are still just a phone call away.
