After a soccer injury my knee was locking at times and would not straighten all the way. Visited another Doctor and I was told that leave it and nothing can be done. Got a referral from a friend to visit Dr Schram. Great Doctor, easy to talk to and performed my surgery two weeks ago. What a difference, I had no need for pain medication after surgery and my knee does not lock and extends as it should. I highly recommend Dr Schram.

I had a knee surgery 1 year ago by this ortho Dr. Richard Schram. For most of this year I have been unable to walk due to swelling and arthritis. I have been in PT most of this year. He has never followed up or offered any solutions. It was really scary. I finally got a second opinion and they gave me a cortizone shot and now I can walk. I asked him why he let me suffer and he never called back. He doesn't care about patients at all. He spends zero time answering questions.

After suffering two months with torn meniscus and another Orthopedic Doctor concluded it was just an arthritis flare up based on a simple X-ray, I found relief with Dr Schrams office visit. Dr Schram performed surgery within 10 days and 14 days post surgery already returned to my Workout routine.

Dr. Schram is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. I am approaching 50, and unwilling to give up my active lifestyle – that includes sports and weightlifting. Over the past few years, I have encountered shoulder issues (both right and left) that ultimately required surgery. Dr. Schram took a diligent approach throughout. After guiding me through attempts at less invasive treatment, I did finally opt for surgery. The results have been excellent. I am so grateful to be pain free!

As a U.S. Postal Service Letter Carrier, my knees are invaluable. The arthritis in my left knee was so painful, I could barely walk, let alone lift. One month after the surgery, I returned to work at full duty with no restrictions and totally "Pain Free". Dr. Schram ensures my continued success with monthly follow-up exams and x-rays.

I am writing to let anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon know, that in my opinion, Dr Schram is a great surgeon. His skill as a surgeon has helped me recover from a detached rotator cuff tear. While I still have work to do on regaining strength, my range of motion is 100%. Even PT is impressed by how quickly I got range back. I also respect Dr Schram's opinion as I consulted him a year before my tear on my hip. He recommended against surgery. So he is interested in what's best for you.

I tore my left ACL 8 years ago and then tore my right one just 6 months ago. I had such a great result with my first surgery that I had great confidence in returning to Dr. Schram again, he replaced them with a patellar graft both times. Both had tremendous results and I would highly recommend him for any sports related injury.
