Ruptured Achilles. Dr Schram was recommend by my doctor. Dr. Schram was able to see me right away and after an evaluation and MRI, recommended surgery as my injury was severe. The surgery went very well, just a little pain but that's expected. Dr. Schram and his staff are always kind, courteous, friendly and made sure I reach out to them if I have any questions or concerns. I saw Dr. Schram for a right knee injury. Turns out it was a menicus tear and a spot where the bones were touching. He laid out a number of treatment options that were available. I opted for surgery to repair the knee. One month after surgery and I'm almost pain free and close to being back to where I was prior to the injury. I had zero issues getting appointments or the surgery scheduled. The staff was great and Dr. Schram was the best.
Dr Schram has performed a LT Total Knee Replacement on me and I have no complaints about his side bed manners, care or communication with me. He was very clear about the Arthritic issues I was facing and the choices I had to make. His Medical Office Staff has been cordial and helpful. I recommend Dr Schram for anybody with Orthopedic Issues. He will discuss with you your choices and the best care in order to resolve one's issues. This has been my experience with him and his staff.
In the past 10 years, I have had both shoulders worked on by Dr. Schram. He is an excellent doctor if you want to know what the science is and want a treatment that aligns with the issues. The ratings are about right, you either love him or hate him. If you want someone who is no-nonsense and tells you the truth, you will find him perfect for your issues. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Schram. We were fortunate enough that he was on call many years ago when my daughter dislocated her wrist and needed surgery. My wife has seen him about knee and foot issues. I have had him repair both shoulders. Its wonderful to be pain free again. Pain free! Beyond the surgical stuff, he is very engaging. Dr. Richard Schram has performed three successful Orthopedic surgeries on me: A left knee meniscus repair procedure in 2011. A right shoulder torn rotator cuff repair in 2020. A right knee meniscus repair procedure in 2020. For each surgery we arrived at the conclusion that surgery was the right approach after x-ray, MRI and office discussions. Dr. Schram is an excellent doctor! Both my husband and I have had procedures performed by him with wonderful results. He is very thorough, patient and caring. He always listens and takes time to explain the procedure and answer questions. We highly recommend him!
Great results with knee replacement, I kept putting it off and living with the pain. I am very happy, getting to walk and move around. Dr. Schram did a great job and would highly recommend him. Wish I hadn't waited so long to have the surgery.
I came to Dr. Richard Schram by a referral. I would recommend him without reservation for the following reasons: I saw Dr. Schram after chronic neck pain (this resolved with Dr. Schram's skilled hands) following an MVA in 2015.
