I paid $50 to see Dr. Hightower and felt (as usual) that he rushes me out of his office to get his next sucker in line. Getting things done through this office is more than dismal. I'm forced to get more information from my PHARMACIST, than Dr. Hightower. Being a type2 diabetic, I need to keep up with my meds. If I say I NEED new prescriptions written because I'm ALL OUT, why should it take more/less than "quote" 72 hours to get a MUCH NEEDED script. My glucose levels are climbing up and over DEADLY levels 250+.
Excellent MD.
From the time you enter the front office to seeing the nurse, the doctor, the ladies in the lab and checking out, every person is smiling and courteous.
Doctor Hightower, makes you feel comfortable & safe. You’re immediately assured that whatever ails you will be resolved. It’s very reassuring to know that he looks over your chart in its entirety & familiarizes himself with the patient’s history. I recommend him to everyone I know.
This review is about my experience in the lab. Very poor. The tech was not able to get a blood draw from my right arm. So he tried the left arm. Same result (or lack of.) So he asked another tech for help. She was able to draw blood on the first attempt.
Dr Hightower was understanding and informative.
Dr.Hightower has to be the worst doctor i have ever seen, and i have seen many. Frankly, he is just rude. He will talk over you, ignore you, and dismiss all comments and concerns. However, If you just want a doctor to just write your prescriptions, get you out of there, no eye contact, no explanation; then this is your guy! Absolutely do not see him for any mental health problems.
This review is for any Moms who find themselves needing PPD help. This is not where you will find it. I had concerns with my mental and physical health and maybe I should have just went to a Female Dr. who had a lot more TACT with dealing with this.
Went in early October and he seemed like a nice enough guy. Of course I waited 30 minutes past my appointment before I was seen, but that's how most offices go. Went in for quad pain and was expecting imaging or assessment. My leg was not even looked at. He talked to me about a few other concerns I had and sent me down the hall to get labs done and make an appointment with physical therapy. I had already told him that I have full function over the limb but only had pain when lifting weights. I wanted to rule out a tear. Phys... read more
