I saw Dr. Martin’s PA Ryan Marinone. He is very professional, kind, compassionate, efficient and explains everything. Very happy with his service.
Dr. Martin has a friendly manner and direct communications that made it easy to understand my problem and the possible solutions. The entire staff at OrthoArizona was friendly and helpful.
The office was clean. The Dr. and office staff were all wearing masks as well as the other patients in the office due to the Covid-19 situation. The P.A. saw me immediately upon my arrival and Dr. Martin was in shortly after to complete the exam. The prognosis and follow up care was explained and my next appointment was set. I wish every doctors appointment I had went as well as this one.
Very thorough in explaining procedure prior to surgery and reviewed surgical pictures at post-op appointment. Listened to my lifestyle in determining if surgery was appropriate.
Dr Martin appeared to ignore everything I said and made his initial diagnosis off the fact that it hurt when he happened to press hard enough in a random spot, that wasn't otherwise painful. When my issues suddenly worsened, Dr Martin did not seem interested in what was wrong or to care that I was now on crutches, said that we would determine what was wrong through "time". Went to another Dr where I received a diagnosis that matched my symptoms as well as a plan for treatment - neither of which Dr. Martin provided.
I would recommend Dr. Martin to anyone with a bone or joint problem. Angela his nurse is amazing. She is very thorough and takes time to listen . When Dr. Martin comes in he already knows why. I have been seeing him for 10 years starting with a meniscus repair that went very smoothly. He informed me that I was showing signs of osteoarthritis and was very informative about treatment. I started with collagen shots and each of those lasted me several years of comfort. His PA, Ryan Marinone is simply the best. He's calm and pers... read more
I would highly recommend Dr. Martin and his team. They were very professional, understanding and caring. They made what was otherwise a tragedy into a 100% recovery. From the first visit, to the surgery, to the recovery every thing went extremely well. Dr. Martin is a great surgeon. He repaired my badly broken patella (knee cap) with pins and wire. Four months later he successfully removed the hardware. I can not be more grateful to Dr, Martin and his team because of them I am walking today.
Dr.Martin and staff were wonderful in completely making me comfortable and answered any questions for my knee surgery before and after ! Great people and performance!
Dr. Martin is an excellent and kind professional. He operated on both of my knees (arthroscopy meniscus repair). He answered all of my questions, took the time to explain everything before and after the surgery. I'm currently recovering really well. His staff is also outstanding from the receptionist to Angela (Nurse), and Ryan (Physician Assistant) Most importantly, I came to Dr. Marin seeking a second opinion. The previous doctor was claiming I needed a more invasive and costly procedure.
