Very disappointed! Won’t go back. Personality conflict. Not personable or thorough. Loved his nurse though! I suggest not going to him if you are a former smoker or present smoker. I am a former and he said he won’t help me. He said smoking causes the back trouble. And I don’t smoke anymore but that didn’t seem to matter to him.
Not good at all. It started out fine. I tried to give him all the information I could - as I would any doctor. At the end he stood up and looked at my husband and said "I can't get a word in edgewise with her!" "Look how many times she's interrupted me." " she's giving me her whole life history!" I couldn't believe a doctor would be so rude when a patient is trying to give them background info which the doctor had asked for. If you have any other health issues, you will not be treated well.
Pretty amazing. I had a disc replacement in my neck, so far I am doing great!
Dr. Drake was very professional, thorough and friendly. Dr. Drake listened to my concerns and his approach of recommending only what is necessary complements my own approach. He clearly explained my back pain condition using my x-rays and MRI. I have confidence in his diagnosis and recommendations. I was very pleased with my visit, and my wife is arranging a visit for her father.
DR, Richard Drake performed surgery on my lower back in 2017 and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. He is an outstanding Doctor and an expert in solving back issues.
Thank you for fixing my spine. Love, love, love the results.
The doctor LITERALLY only spent 2 minutes in the room with me and acted like I wasn’t worth his trouble since my back issues weren’t bad enough to need surgery and I wasn’t jumping on the idea of having injections in my spine! Also told me my back issues were from smoking! Forget the fact that I’ve had VERY physical jobs that required me to lift up to and sometimes exceeding 300 pounds multiple times a day for 10-16 hours per day for the last 8 years! He was very rude and snub nosed!
Love love Dr Drake! He's a great doctor with great bed side manners! I wouldn't want to use anyone else :) Thanks for your awesome care! Kim
I had a pain level of 8 to 10 and woke up from surgery at 0! He was great and took time to listen and get to know me. He was also honest enough to say when he didnt think someone needed surgery as was the case with another family member. Last time I had a little trouble with my back, he suggested physical therapy instead of surgery. He also suggested losing weight and more exercise. He was right - it all worked great.
