Worth the Trip to Downtown – I tried a salon closer to my home for a quick trim and quickly remembered why I love ALL my hair services at RH. Not only would I not trust my color to anyone else, but the staff at RH is so professional...and if you've been disappointed by one of those salons that has chatty, bad-mouthed staff that never improved their social skills past middle school, you'll appreciate the upscale, confident treatment you'll receive at Richard Herrera About Hair.
Worth the try!!! – They are great for a busy schedule. I always get in when I need to. I have gone to a few different girls and they all were friendly and listened to what I was looking for. They all got my hair JUST the right color. That is the reason I left other salons, they just couldn't get it right. From the second you walk in the door they grab your purse and are handed a robe. Best Salon Around.. HANDS DOWN! – AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! This is the best salon I have ever been to, everyone was all smiles and very helpful. I was greeted when I walked in by these really ADORABLE girls who had great style and looked totally chic. Worst salon in Portland – I went here a while back to have an updo done and received the worst service I have ever experienced at a salon. First, the stylist I had scheduled my updo with did not get her prior appointment done before I arrived. Apparently, the customer didn't like her updo so the stylist kept redoing it - cutting into my appointment time. BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! LIKE WOW!!!!!! – I have seen just about everyone of the stylists here, and I am happy to say I enjoyed every single experience I have ever had there. tanya is awesome! – this is a great salon in every way! i love tanya! she has changed my hair in every way. when i first started going to her, i hated my hair... after a year of loyalty to her, i absolutely love my look. so worth every dime. make sure you have some extra time because she is a perfectionist.
good but expensive – I used to go here but I go to Toni and Guy now. It is a lot easier on my pocket book and just as good if not better!
Great hair everytime – After moving to Portland, I looked for a long time to find a stylist and hair colorist working in a salon that is trendy but not pretentious and where I didn't have to drive around and around looking for decent parking. Great Cut, Great Color, Expensive – Tiffany is great...love my cut, and I actually found someone who didn't turn my hair that ugly brassy orange. I have brown hair with carmel and blond highlight...2.5 months later it still looks the same!!! The atmosphere is good; the reception desk is very friendly and they keep great records. Only complaint is the price...very expensive. Worth it??? Still deciding...
