Although he comes off rather Patrick Bateman esque, I vote Dr. D'Amico as one of the most qualified plastic surgeons in the tri-state area. His practice belongs on Park Ave because his results are flawless. He morphed my ethnic face into a ravishing European sensation and when I went off to college, I was the hottest commodity on campus. Dr. D'Amico comes across very arrogant. I had both of my brests lifted in the Fall of 2011. The surgery went smoothly. However, he did a small reduction (unplanned) in my left breast along with the lift. The results were TERRIBLE! My right breast looks just the way I wanted...minimal scarring, the correct sized nipple, etc. My left breast looks like it was ****ed! On the surface, the courteous staff and confident Dr. D'amico might inspire confidence in a potential patient. This is the wrong, wrong, wrong conclusion to make, however. After undergoing a breast augmentation and lift for very slightly saggy breasts, I experienced clearly malformed breasts. I liked doctor DAmico and I know he tryed do do the best for me but the results were not completely satisfactory. He didn't pull one side of my face tight enough so I have dropped skin after having a facelift. Also he left fat on one side after having a neck lift. I went to two top doctors a yr later and they said they would redo both procedures. The staff is great and well informed. They work together in a way that promotes confidence in them and the doctor. The office is run very efficiently. It seems everyone knows their job and each does it well. They are very accessible and accommodating. There was never a time I had a question that wasn't answered or that I was left wondering what was going on and what would come next. It's obvious that their goal is to make the patient's experience as painless and scary as possible.
After having my children I struggled with the added "fat" that remained in my abdomen/hips/thighs and stomach even though I maintained a good body weight. Dr. D'Amico suggested liposuction to provide me better contour but to also have a tummy tuck as my muscles were so stretched out with my pregnancies. I went to Dr. D'Amico for my breast augmentation and lift because he came highly recommended from a good friend. During my consult he answered all my questions, went over the procedure and the recovery. I knew right then that Dr. D'Amico was going to be the Dr. to do my surgery. If you want the best, go to Dr. D'Amico. He is a respected, board certified physician who is renowned the world over. He is knowledgeable, experienced and up on the latest procedures. Not to mention, he has a great bedside manner! I had rhinoplasty and liposuction done and he did a fantastic job. And what a great staff!!
I had rhinoplasty performed on me by Dr. D'Amico several years ago. I was very pleased by both the process and the results. His staff was both kind and supportive, and Dr. D'Amico himself was knowledgeable and answered all my questions in a way that I could easily understand. I was also very pleased with the results, and still am. He's one of the best!
