I love the fried okra. The baby back ribs and smoked turkey is my favorite. The baked beans are home made. The service is always good . The staff is friendly. Hands down my favorite place to eat in Grand Junction.
Been coming here for about 15 years, and have never had a bad experience, a rude server, or bad food. The wait staff are always fun and cheerful. The okra is still the best I’ve had anywhere. Meats fall off the bone. Their sauces are the best! They don’t soak their meat in too much vinegar, which a lot of BBQ places are guilty of. Great for any occasion with great service, relaxed atmosphere and everything on the menu is amazing with it's own kick and style.
The ribs were good, BBQ chicken great, and homemade carrot cake exceptional. Management seems to care a great deal about the quality of the experience, and providing a good product, in a clean environment. Plan to return on my way back through Colorado. 😊
The skyscraper with beef brisket is the best sandwich in town and I just put the coleslaw on the sandwich best meal in a while.
