Neighbors are respectful and the complex feels safe, all the staff from leasing to maintenance are wonderful and genuinely care about creating a great community, the grounds and amenities are well kept, they also regularly host community events. I’m proud to call Cortland my home.

Not Recommended – Ongoing Safety and Service Issues I do not recommend Cortland University City as a safe or professionally managed place to live. My experience has been marked by repeated service failures, unresolved maintenance issues, and a concerning lack of accountability from management. For months, the key fob system on my building was broken. Although the door would lock, residents were unable to gain entry using their issued fobs. Verified Renter In the years I've lived here, there's been a significant decline in the residents, the cleanliness and most importantly, the safety/security! The lack of security on the property, the vast increase in break ins and theft as well as the the lack of concern exhibited by the leasing office will guarantee i don't sign another lease!
