The squash and apple soup was amazing and not too sweet and I really enjoyed the persimmon glazed quail with mustard greens and spoonbread that went perfectly with my glass of grenache
I have never encountered a more rude and snobby staff as I did at the bar at Rhubarb. They weren’t helpful at all, treated us like we were a nuisance, wouldn’t make any substitutions or recommendations, and acted as though we weren’t even there. The pork was inedible (undercooked and chewy), and the manager offered us popcorn to make up for it. We may as well have thrown $130 in the garbage. I’m disgusted with the food and more importantly, how we were treated. I will never return.
Really great and lovely bartenders, however the manager began very unprofessionally chastising both employees while we were trying to enjoy a drink at the bar. Manager complety ruined the vibe for all customers within earshot.
Never had a bad bite here. One of the quintessential Appalachian restaurants.
Service was great and the digs and drink were top notch
We were visiting Asheville from upstate NY and got a recommendation to go to Rhubarb... one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to... healthy interesting menu with good portions and outstanding service! Can’t wait to come back!
Great waitress. Nice ambiance!
farm to table in imaginative combinations
Eclectic, upscale eatery, with Chef John Fleer's local farm-to-table creations, make for a culinary experience like no other☆☆☆☆☆
